put some dried mealworms on the lawn and within minutes counted 16 of them

managed to get a couple of shots of the young blackbird but this time outside of the house, it does make a huge difference to the quality of the photo.

our missy

she is seven weeks old today and we are so glad that our two shitzus have finally let her share their dog bed with them.

saw the young blackbird in our garden for the first time this morning, they have nested in the pyracantha bush in the front garden.

she's settled in ok but the shitzus wont stay on the dog bed when she gets on, so she's still sleeping with us, must be a pecking order thing, she doesn't seem to mind. she's found a place on one of the book shelves.
