today in the garden

very quiet today, first day of the new mealworm feeder, the robins ( we have 2 now ) didn't go anywhere near it, neither did the sheppies for that matter, time will tell, don't want to post any photos of it until i can prove it works, took a couple of shots, one of the dunnock and one of the goldfinch and bluetit sharing the feeder.

sad day

charlie our bulldog passed away on the 23rd, we were heart broke, 9 years old but they say 8-10 is the average, we still have our 2 shitzhus but they don't seem to know what to do, time will heal, on a lighter note i've finished the mealworm feeder and hope to post positive results in the not too distant future,

yet another robin feeder

sorry to say that the latest robin feeder is a flop, i think the fault lies in the entrance, with it being a single hole with no access perch methinks that our robin nolikey but not too worry started work on robin feeder number 3, think i've got a good chance with this one, hopefully can post positive results within next 2 weeks, ( oh i yeah ).
