nesting time

the birds in our back garden are going about the business of nest building,i put up a new wooden screening a few weeks ago which is at the side of the garage door, the black bird has decided to build her nest in it, our robin is taking the mealworms to his mate which is in another garden, the blue tit box has had a few visitors but early days yet,we have a pair of long tailed tits going in and out of the ivy, mrs black bird doesn't mind us at all, when we go to the wheelie bin, which is right underneath her nest and about head height 2ft away she never moves, put the mealworms on top of bin and they both fly on straight away, what a wonderful time of the year.

A wonderful time of year indeed Denis, I love it, I really do!

A very enjoyable post with lovely photos, so nice to see all the action going on in your garden. Do you think the LTTs are collecting insects in the Ivy or nesting? That would be amazing!! I don't know if you know but they make the most incredible nests out of spiders' webs, lichen, moss etc and line them with over 2000 feathers!!

I look forward to developments, enjoy every minute Denis :)
