It looks like they are trying to hide from the dreary weather on this post and I can't say I blame them, it has been dismal here and I suspect it is not much better where you are. Great pic of the Starling looking straight at you!
I'm curious, is Sheppie a northern term or your own name for the Starlings?

hi shysongbird, i only know that it is used in and around the wigan area which is where i live, as to where it originated from i have no idea.
