Glad the buy was a success Denis, I had a very pleasant 10 mins yesterday watching one of our little dunnocks take a bath, such a relaxing pastime this bird watching!! Jayne
Love your bird bath denis. Is it stone? looks it!I love stone garden stuff!I find it fascinating watching the birds bathing, like everyone else, i could watch them all day!
hi karen, yes it's stone, really pleased with it, (not as much as the birds) i think that the last bird bath was too deep so the birds never bathed in it.
I'm wondering if that's why I don't get birds bathing, Denis. I just have a large planter dish thing but it's quite deep. I had starlings and a goldfinch drinking out of it and a starling actually stood in it but no splashing about.
I think my water might be too clean lol. Today I saw a blackbird bathing and later a sparrow drinking from rainwater in a muddy depression where cars had messed up a piece of grass with their tyres.
